The arnall's standard arch support system is a good start, but needs some additional improvements. the first year i used these supports the supports (although tight) twisted on the pontoon railing, and the boat cover collapsed.. I purchased the 68" wide cover for my 14' aluminum utility boat. i couldn't have asked for a better fit! it even covers the 9.9 hp motor! (see photo) i used custom cut 1.75" vinyl lattice slats available from home depot as gunnel to gunnel bowed supports, using the waste from one bow to add to the longest bow to provide more stiffness (see photo)..
